Review : This is an independently owned bar and has a different feel to it than most pubs, especially chain pubs. It is more individual and has its own sense of direction, it has gone for a lot of world beers both bottled and on draught. The decor on the ground floor is a little dated and tired but the atmosphere is friendly and the bar is worth a visit for the beer selection alone. The cellar bar has more of a late night, almost club feel to it. It opens at 6pm and closes at 1am.
