Review  :   This is a great bar !!! I have been coming here for years and it just seems to get better. It has a large seating area, on two levels, which is beside the very well stocked bar with real ales, great beers and a good selection of whiskies. This leads onto a smaller area beside an open fire which has tables and large backed leather seats, this also leads onto a small barrel-Vaulted room with a pool table. There is also a "snug" area on the left as you walk into the bar. The food is great, not too expensive, and served by friendly staff who don't mind having a bit of friendly banter. This bar has a great atmosphere whether you are here on a Monday in winter or a Saturday in the summer. The last time I was here was the morning after a house warming party and it was every bit as good as I remembered, unfortunately my photographs don't do it justice.
