The Inveralmond brewery was established in 1997 by Fergus Clark. The brewery is based in an industrial estate in Perth where, in the beginning they produce about 20 barrels per week. They now have a new 30 barrel brew plant with plans to expand to 60. This brewery is going from strength to strength, with the demand for their beer growing steadily. They export to Finland, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia.
I had the pleasure of visiting the brewery in December 2011 and was shown round by the head brewer Ken Duncan. This visit was very enjoyable, informative and was filmed by my very understanding wife, Christine. The Tartan Pint
A Great new book available from Amazon for only £2.05
The Tartan Pint is all about the great breweries and fantastic beers that Scotland has to offer. It gives you information about the breweries, including a description of the history or the people behind them. There is a list of the beers they produce along with pump clip images and tasting notes, where available. The book is split into the 14 geographical area's of Scotland from Shetland to Dumfries and Galloway with a brief description of the area and a list of the breweries located in that area. Plus chapters about beer history, beer tasting and beer styles, i.e. the definition of lager, bitter, porters, etc....

Independence 3.8% ABV
Available throughout the year, Independence is a classic, full bodied and malty beer with subtle hints of mixed fruits and punches of spice. A perfect balance of Pilgrim and Saaz hops delivers a high quality, nicely rounded ale, with earthy and slightly spicy notes.
2005 - SIBA Scotland (Bitters up to 3.9%) - Bronze.

Ossian 4.1% ABV
Available throughout the year, this superb golden ale continues to win awards. A pale, golden coloured brew with a full bodied fruity flavour with distinct nutty tomes and a hoppy, zesty, orange aroma, derived from First Gold and Cascade hops. Excellent brewing resulted in Ossian being judged the Champion Beer of Scotland.

Available throughout the year, this superb golden ale continues to win awards. A pale, golden coloured brew with a full bodied fruity flavour with distinct nutty tomes and a hoppy, zesty, orange aroma, derived from First Gold and Cascade hops. Excellent brewing resulted in Ossian being judged the Champion Beer of Scotland.

Sunburst Pilsner 4.8% ABV
Available during July and August, Sunburst is a Pilsner style lager. A ceisp clean palete with a pleasing nose from Hersbrucker Hallertau hops.

Pundie 5.0%
Pundie is a measure of beer that used to be given free to brewery workers on certain days of the year. Traditionally a strong beer, the name gave rise to the colloquial term for a brewery; a pundie house.
A great burnished copper strong ale. The malty palate is finely balanced Saaz hops to give a full flavoured yet refreshing beer.
Usually available October - November
Duncan's IPA 4.4% ABV
Traditional hoppy style beer. Usually Available February - April
Inkie Pinkie 3.7% ABV
Inkie Pinkie is a superb summer session ale. It is refreshing and fruity with a pleasing hop aroma.
Usually Available May - September
Santa's Swallie 4.3% ABV
Santa's Swallie is a fine example of the tradition of brewing Christmas beers that was once prevalent in the UK and is still very popular in other northern European countries. The word 'Yule' is derived from 'ale' as beer was used to celebrate the winter solstice throughout the years.
Santa’s Swallie, is a dark copper coloured Christmas ale, traditionally hopped with Fuggles and a hint of seasonal nutmeg and cinnamon.
