Allt-A-Bhainne Distillery is a modern looking distillery built by Chivas Brothers in 1975. This was designed to have a small amount of staff, in fact one person can control all the processes during their shift. Allt-A-Bhainn was mothballed in 2002, because of acquisitions going on in the rest of the company, but re opened in 2005. The distillery prodcues whisky for Chivas Regal, 100 pipers and Passport.
