Review  :   This is a good medium sized pub with lots of pub food on offer. I was in on a Friday night during the festival and it was pretty packed with tourists and locals alike. It was a friendly atmosphere which was helped by the good service from the bar staff and the traditional decor of wood paneling and old leather seats, I especially liked the booths by the windows as not only are they comfortable and great for a group of people, but you can also watch the world go by as you enjoy your time here. I would have given this pub a higher score but I think the bar, although well stocked with real ales and a good selection of whisky, is too small and I think they cater more for the diner than people who would just like a drink. Worth a visit - especially if you are interested in the story of the Greyfriars Bobby.
