This Brewery was started by Ken Brooker and Eric Harris in 1985 and was situated on a farm at Dollarfield, Dollar, Clackmannanshire. Since then the Brewery has moved to it's current location in Alva, has been taken over by Caledonian in 2006 and is now, as of 2008, back to being fully independent.

The Tartan Pint

Schiehallion 4.8% ABV

Outstanding malty, hoppy cask lager, floral and bitter. Multi award winning cask product. This was the first cask conditioned lager in modern day Britain once again showing Ken Brooker's ingenuity. Available in Keg, Cask and Bottle

Old Engine Oil 6.0% ABV   

 A smooth, full-bodied, hoppy stout. Said to be brewed with an unbelievable amount of Roasted Barley, this pitch black ale is joy to drink and very unique.

Ola Dubh 8.0% ABV  

An Imperial Stout/Porter like beer aged in malt whisky casks from Highland Park Distillery on Orkney. A dark (like used motor oil) beer with bitter burnt notes, late hop character, and a fruity and slightly smoky finish. Brewed in small batches and available in three forms: aged in 12 Yr., 16 Yr, 18 Yr, 30 Yr and 40 Yr. Highland Park casks.
