This Brewery was started by Andrew Murdo Ribben's in 2002. He had been a regular visitor to the island for many years staying with his grandfather at his croft, Aird Tong. Andrew finally took the plunge after taking redundancy from his job with a pharmaceutical company. He worked at the Flagship Brewery in Kent to gain experience and then invested in a 10 Barrel brewing plant.

The Tartan Pint

It gives you information about the breweries, including a description of the history or the people behind them. There is a list of the beers they produce along with pump clip images and tasting notes, where available. CLANSMAN 3.9% ABV

ISLANDER 4.8% ABV
Brewed with special coloured Scots malt, deep ruby in colour and predominantly malty with robust hopping to match. Complex like the Hebrides themselves, with hidden rewards waiting for those who search them out.
Bronze award in the SIBA Beer of Scotland 2003, Premium cask conditioned category. Silver award in the SIBA beer of Scotland Competition 2004
