The Speyburn Distillery was established by the Speyburn-Glenlivet Distillery Co. Ltd in 1898 and was designed by the well known distillery architect Charles Doig. It was sold to the Distillers Company Ltd in 1916 who used it to produce whisky for blending. The distillery started producing single malt around the year 1991 when it was sold to Inver House Distillers Ltd. The Speyburn Distillery now produces a 10 year old and a 25 year old single malt as well as whisky for the Inver House blends.
