Review  :   This is a good country pub in a beautiful small town. It is just beside Dirleton Castle on the edge of the village green. I was there with a few friends and enjoyed the sun in the beer garden and then enjoyed talking with a few locals and tourists in the friendly bar atmosphere. We didn't eat here but I wished we had, as the food that was being served looked great ! The bar was quite well stocked with the usual beers and whiskies. It also had a few of the more expensive drinks, such as champagne, which are aimed at the more affluent customer.

If you are in the area this place is worth a visit for a meal and a drink, there are also rooms available. Check it out.

Love this restaurant/bar! I'm from the states and my Dad's a Scot. When we come over we stay in North Berwick and have come to the Castle Inn on numerous occasions. Great food, great service and on a sunny day the beer garden is a nice spot to consume a pint or two...or three.
