Review : This is a good bar for both locals and tourists. Its off the main street and down the Tomintoul road, but not far from the center of town. As you enter the bar there is a seating area on your left which is also used for serving food, the bar is on the right by an open fire which is set in the stone wall. Some of the furniture seems a little tired but that doesn't really matter as the over all feel of the place is welcoming. The bar is well stocked with good whiskies, (you would expect this as the bar is in the Spey side whisky producing region), and has a few local ales on offer as well as the usual lagers. It was quite quiet the two nights we were in but the excellent banter from the barman more than made up for this, which is why we came back on the second night of our stay in Granton On Spey. Worth a visit

My husband Rob & I visit The Craig everytime we stay at the caravan park. Its a great place to bring the dogs, Robbie spoils them rotten, in fact they get served before we do!! Love it!! Also the specialty pies with chips, peas & gravy are a must, really tasty!! Suzy Pickford, (Lossiemouth).

The is a you can't miss bar. Robbie the Bartender is great, the meat pies were some of the best I have eaten, the bar has a very friendly atmosphere, and the fire in the fire place was great.
The pies were about 7 pounds, the Guinness 3 and change, and he also has a great selection of Scotch Whiskey's.
Everyone who is in Grantown On Spey NEEDS to eat and drink here.
