This bar is a Glasgow institution, if you come to Glasgow you have to come here and experience it ! It is an old school drinking man, (and women's), pub with great beers, real ales, whiskies and a no nonsense feel to it. The food is also very good pub grub which is served quickly and it won't break the bank. I was here on a Thursday evening, (I had been working at the Glasgow Freshers Festival in George Square, which isn't that far from the pub), and the place had a great buzz of conversation and laughter about it. I was here on my own but was made to feel welcome by both the staff and the locals. The Karaoke, which takes place upstairs, is also well known to be a good night out. Karaoke isn't my kind of entertainment so I stayed in the bar and enjoyed the beer and the craic. Well worth a visit !
