Review  :   This is a good bar, but not as good as it should be, or as good as it used to be. It has the biggest beer garden, that I know of, in Edinburgh. There is lots of out door seating with a large screen for sporting events and a stage for bands. Inside the pub the decor is traditional with wood panelling and old seats and tables. the drinks are OK and are standard Edinburgh prices. I have been here many times and have always found it welcoming and full of interesting people, from bikers to professors, musicians to council workers. However, the last couple of times I've been here it's just been students and tourists - which is OK - but not as interesting as it used to be.
