Review : This Bar is a hidden treasure waiting to be found. Tucked away in Thistle Street, in between Queens Street and George Street, it is a bar well worth looking for and going to. It's quite small with a lot of cozy corners to sit, an open fire and a small beer garden out the back. The bar itself is packed with more beer fonts than you can shake a stick at !!! I've never seen so many on a bar that size before. Behind the bar is a gantry filled to bursting point with a huge variety of whiskies and spirits. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming which is also helped by the very friendly and helpful bar staff. The last time I was in on a Thursday night and it was busy with a lively buzz about it - I'll be back and I'm bringing more friends next time !!!

We just had drinks there and we hope others will soon find this place. Mostly locals, but they are super friendly to tourists. The Polish bartender is super nice and she makes you feel very welcome, even asking where you are from. She has an excellent knowledge of the beers and spirits and gladly let's you try them. Nuts and chips. We also saw an espresso machine there.

I have been drinking here for years and years, but a recent visit here has changed my opinion on the place. It must be under new management, and I think the staff are not the best, not interested and a bit rude. Therefore I would recommend to drink elsewhere, theres plenty of alternatives to the TSB.
